Unless there is a cron job, then ht://Dig will not update
anything. Generally people write a script to do the updating (you can use
the rundig script as a model, or see my rundig.sh script at
<http://www.htdig.org/files/contrib/scripts/>
Then make sure you have a suitable cron job or something else running
periodically.
