These RPMs are based on the January 13/02 snapshot of 3.2.0b4. It's not exactly the latest, but it was reasonably solid at that time, as long as you don't need to index password-protected sites (Basic authentication was broken in that snapshot). It would be a big improvement over 3.2.0b3! I don't think there were any query parser changes since that snapshot, so it's probably OK for what you're trying. I like RPMs too, but I'll sometimes build them myself when I can't get them ready-made for the version I want. Install the .src.rpm for the above package, put the new tarball in the SOURCES directory, update the htdig.spec file in the SPECS directory, and "rpm -ba htdig.spec".
