Hello Geoff,

thanks for your help.

I hoped to avoid assembling a own parser, but seem there's no luck on my
side with this ;-)

I have tried to look after htmerge with the option htmerge -vvs >
mergelog.log
At the end of this summery there are two intersting lines saying:

htmerge: Total documents: 9860
htmerge: Total size of documents (in K): 115499

I wonder what size here is mentioned... Is it the size of the transferd docs
(this would answer my question though :) ) or is this a size accumulated
especially for the dig-database?
