  So does that mean I need to run a merge like this?
        htmerge -c configfile
        htmerge -c configfile2
        htmerge -a -v -c configfile -m configfile2

  Is that what you mean??

  I did read that note on the htdig site, but could not fully understand what 
needed to be done.......am I correct above?
