Hi all, I just setup a new solaris 8 web server and compiled htdig version 3.1.6.
I configured htdig and then ran it. I noticed it was taking a REALLY long time, which normally it doesn't. I checked the processes and htnotify was taking up all of the CPU and memory. I eventually killed the process. I read a post that said the database files may be corrupt. I deleted the db files and tried again with no luck. I removed it htdig completely and recompiled again, still have the same problem. For right now, I just uncommented the line in rundig that starts htnotify, but I'd like to know if anyone has had this problem before? Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?
