My question is, how do I compile htdig so that I don't
have to use LD_LIBRARY_PATH everytime? I tried
LDFLAGS="-L/usr/local/lib" and that didn't work.
Hi - Take a look at http://www.htdig.org/FAQ.html#q3.6. There is a LD_RUN_PATH environment variable that should do what you need.
