So you want to implement htsearch on your own? Then you better take a look
at the sourcecode...

If you refer to

a) indexing multiple servers at once and

b) restricting a search to a specific webserver

Yes, thats possible. Just define multiple start URL and on each search form
restrict the search terms to this particular website.
