You should post a url to the mentioned packages. It
would be nice to be able to check out these projects
and great for the archives when people are looking for
this solution. 

As the previous reply said Manuel Lemos does great
work. I ended up writing a wrapper using his and
php.net as a guide (the used to use htdig, not sure if
they still do?) anyway they allow you to view the php
source (check the bottom of the php.net search page
for a link). 

Also you should read thru this old article on devshed
