I've done some poking around on the DB2 PANIC issue.
It appears there may be a problem with compiling htdig
3.1.6 on Solaris using gcc 3.2.2 I saw a posting from
someone with my exact condition; he went back to gcc
2.95.3 and that fixed everything up.

IF this is the fix, I wonder if there is an alternate
way, other than de-evolving my gcc. I am on a shared
server, lacking root access unfortunately.

Any ideas appreciated.
Thanks again.
