Dear all, Being less familiar with configuring patches (never used the patch command).
having downloaded and untarred the source code for 3.1.6 how can I apply the patch published already in 2002 in this newsgroup? Apply it using "patch -p0 < this-message-file" writes Gilles Detilieux in this mailinglist. However where (path) and when (before installing htdig in the same directory where I do .\configure make and make install or afterwards (in the binary directory or what?)
