When I Attempt to initialize the DB I get:

What am I doing wrong?
Judging by the "htdig: Unable to open/create document database", my
first guess would be to check the permissions of
/usr/home/ips/html/htdig/db/ to make sure the user you're running htdig
as has write permissions on that directory.
