[htdig] htmerge not updating the database files

Hi,

I have installed htdig 3.2.0b6 on a sloaris 5.8 machine and configured by making necessary changes to htdig.conf file

I am trying to index my local files using htdig, to achieve this i mapped the start_url to loacl path.

I start htdig from a shell script.

Following the output i see when i run htdig and htmerge.

The issue i have is, After i run Htdig if i try to search from a string using my application i see no result.

1.I am not very sue if the message "pick: whitewa1.bea.com, # servers = 1" in htdig output is an error.
2. I suspect that the htmerge is not updating the databse files( e.g. words.db) properly.

Can any body help me.
