 Yes. I did consider that and this is not a big problem as long as the
ICU lib is a shared lib. GPL does not contaminate sources/objects that are
in separate files.

 I don't know but I guess the answer is yes since libunicode author is
a Cygnus employee.

 As far as I know they do not. My company is ready to hire someone to
do the job (we actually found someone ready to do this on www.cosource.com).
But it does not make sense to do it if libunicode is the answer.

 Good point. I'll play with ICU and libunicode to give you a more
