I've reviewed the changes and everything seems to be fine. I have
troubles to understand why there was a conflict on mp/mp_bh.c since
the changes from 2.2.5 to 2.2.7 do not overlap with the compression
patch. But this is not be a problem.
I had the opportunity to test the alpha release of Berkeley DB 3.0.
The test suite has only two small errors (not much for many hours of
test ;-). The compression patches cannot be applied as such, but reviewing
the problems it will not be hard to adapt. The basic underlying mechanism
did not change. That a big relief.
