To that end I think adding ftp://sol.ccsf.cc.ca.us/htdig-patches/ to the
mailing list footer would do the trick.

That reminds me; until there aren't different directory structures for
patches of different versions on htdig.org, it may be necessary to add the
prefix "htdig-x.x.x" and the postfix ".patch" to the patch names.  But
patch site on sol.ccsf has by definition only patches; it also has version
directories; therefore, those pre/post-fixes become redundant; I vote to
have them removed in the patch site.
