I'm looking into moving the Berkely DB backend to a DBMS system(probably
MySQL to begin with)
any comments/tips?
so far I think what I need to do is
create new Database and DB2_db classes, use old code at reference of
course
port DocumentDB to use the slight modifications that would be made,
maybe have configure use a different file for this class if
--enable-mysql is used or something
and thats about it, out side of making sure that all of the major
components compile fine after changes
one question is what are the DB layouts? the compiled text isn't too
readable to the human eye. also CreateSearchDB, would this be needed if
proper indexing was done?
let me know if i missed anything about the DB interfaces, i probably did
