Hi,

       I realize that my previous mail was not explicit enough.
By activating the shared library of Berkeley DB I don't mean that
htdig binaries now use dynamic library instead of the static version.
I only mean that the dynamic version is generated and installed.
I won't go into that kind of change now, too risky. This is the
proof :

[loic@burp htdig3]$ ldd htdig/.libs/htdig
        libhtnet-3.2.0.so => /home/loic/local/lib/libhtnet-3.2.0.so (0x40014000)
        libz.so.1 => /usr/lib/libz.so.1 (0x40028000)
        libcommon-3.2.0.so => /home/loic/local/lib/libcommon-3.2.0.so (0x40037000)
        libhtword-3.2.0.so => /home/loic/local/lib/libhtword-3.2.0.so (0x4007a000)
        libht-3.2.0.so => /home/loic/local/lib/libht-3.2.0.so (0x400b2000)
        libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 => /usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 (0x400e4000)
        libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0x40126000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x40142000)
        /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)

        Cheers,
