I have attached a patch for htdig-3.1.3 which implement
1. Multiple database support
2. NNTP support to index newsgroups.
For 3.2.x, a new Transport can be implemented for NNTP. Actually,
while implementing for 3.1.x, I was wishing for such an abstraction
layer.
Hopefully, this code will be of some help.
It may not be obvious, but as Gilles pointed out before, the tar file
can be extracted by right clicking on the "broken" image for the attachment.
