Hello, My name is Fred McFarland and I am a web producer for the Star-Gazette (www.stargazette.com). We have recently had htDig set up for us by infinet (our host). Thing is we have multiple domian names - www.stargazette.com, www.stargazettenews.com www.stargazettecars.com etc. etc. They said this shouldn't be a problem. We have been able to get 'it' to search all our pages within www.stargazette.com. We had to add some hidden tags to our main index since some of our pages have jump scripts insteads of hrefs. So if you're still reading this here is our problem: It won't search outside of www.stargazette.com. Even with hrefs to the other sites it does not include them in the search. I checked the URL list and they are there. I think the problem may be the search.conf file. They set it up for us and we don't have permission to change it. The thing that I think is wrong is this: >> start_url: http://www.stargazette.com #limit_urls_to: http://www.stargazette.com << I figured the limit_urls_to: line should include all the domain names we want included in the search. I don't know how it reacts with the # in front. Will that make it include everything or just www.stargazette.com? Could this be the source of the problem? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
