Oh, is the current setup not secure enough?  I certainly found it
extremely handy to be able to update the source tree directly from my
own system here.  Given how busy I've been lately, and how I find it
hard to find time to work on the source tree as it is, I'd prefer not
to have any extra layers that would slow that work down further.
