We are trying to index molecules. One method whereby a molecule
can be described is with a so called SMILES string.
This unfortunately, contains characters such as (, [, : = etc.
We were rather hoping that specifying these as a literal "...(,[, "
might do the trick, but no luck.
A search of the htdig site did not reveal how literals might be handled.
Are they? Could they be in 3.2?
