Oops!  I didn't catch this yesterday.  Geoff clearly said url_part_aliases
(plural), not url_part_alias as you used.  Change the attribute name
in both of your config files to url_part_aliases, reindex again (using
either rundig, or htdig -i then htmerge), and it should work.
