In an attempt to improve testing and debugging, I'm curious about setting up CVS snapshots. Basically, I'd set up a script to make a public-accessible tar file of the current CVS tree once a week. This seems to be a popular method for other development projects and allows for more frequent testing than the not-as-frequent-as-we'd-like releases. This would probably allow for patches to appear faster in the code. If you are interested in doing this, please e-mail me directly and I'll see what kind of interest there is.
