Hi Roland,
I am still of an opinion that AsyncHttpProcessor is merely being used as a
placeholder for interceptors and does not serve a real purpose in the public
API, so probably it should not be a part of public API at all. I still can't
help thinking the AbstractHttpDispatcher should derive from the
AbstractHttpProcessor and should include all the code of AsyncHttpProcessor.
Otherwise I like the API. I still have not looked at the SimpleHttpDispatcher
impl in great details.

I would like to run a formal vote on inclusion of http-async code into the
official project repository as soon as Odi is back from France. This should also
trigger a formal vote on your committership
