With the current (or least past few days) Mercurial, if I open a
project (or create a new one, open the control point table, and click
on a control point, I get the following crash:

ContractViolation: 
Precondition violation!
BasicImage::upperLeft(): image must have non-zero size.
(/home/rlk/sandbox/hugin/src/foreign/vigra/vigra/basicimage.hxx:857)

If, however, I open either preview (the slow one or the fast GL one),
I'm able to do so.
