Hi Paul,
I just pulled down the Hugs98-Sep1999.tar.gz file,
untar'd it, and it has the configure file in hugs98/src/unix.
The minor patch (adding config, etc) was important enough
an omission (even if by design) that I just rewrote the
distribution with the extra files. Now things have stabilized,
future patches will include some sort of encoding in the
filename.
I'm looking at a better distribution and packaging system
for the new Hugs (currently called STG Hugs98). Feedback
(to hugs-authors, lets not clutter the hugs-users list)
is welcome.
So look again at the web site, the configure is there :-)
A linux RPM will being appearing shortly, along with
an installshield version.
