I have never suffered from tinnitus. > I have noted on other forums (fora?) that musicians are fairly well > represented in the hum sufferer category. I am a musician (string player) and have excellent hearing. I suggest that musicians are more able to hear noises that others cannot hear. Many people are tone deaf and cannot tell one note from another. God knows what music sounds like to them. I suspect that the people who cannot hear the Hum when others can, have defective hearing. Somebody with tinnitus would keep hearing noises no matter where they go. I hear the Hum only from the direction of a large diesel generator a couple of kilometres from my house. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hum Sufferers" group.
