So is air 'around us and in' us- so why wouldn't air have a potentially modifying effect? It doesn't need to be the actual transmission medium, though, to have such a role. My feeling is there is a 'large system' source of the Hum- like sitting in a huge base woofer but the speaker is a virtual machine and hidden in a web of new technology. Due to only a relative few picking up side effects, (if they were meant to be secret they would fail), the issue doesn't get the attention it deserves -but people are not so gullible or trusting of the state these days (good thing too). In time, the hope must be that slowly the facts get teased out- however hard this is resisted. Over time, many bad patterns in our social like have been eradicated eventually- but often not without substantial struggle and the occasional martyr if the cause is big enough to warrant such a result. Fortunaately this Hum issue is a slow growing one- so volunteers will probably not be required too much in the front line as they are self selecting by default..
