3 Days on- and Hum has turned into the 'Thrum', now on all the time.
Level about double previous with a 5Hz 'thrum' to it.

>From http://www.brainandhealth.com/Brain-Waves.html
"Delta waves (below 4 hz) occur during sleep
Theta waves (4-7 hz) are associated with sleep, deep relaxation (like
hypnotic relaxation), and visualization
What stops our brain from having this balance all the time?
The big 6:
Injury
Medications, including alcohol
Fatigue
Emotional distress
Pain
Stress

These 6 types of problems tend to create a pattern in our brain's
activity that is hard to shift.
In chaos theory, we would call this pattern a "chaotic attractor".
Getting "stuck" in a specific kind of brain behaviour is like being
caught in an attractor.
Even if you aren't into chaos theory, you know being "stuck" doesn't
work - it keeps us in a place we likely don't want to be all the time
and makes it harder to dedicate our energies to something else "

Hum could well be fitted into slot No. 7 for these effects!
I think this must be the standard MMmmmMMMMmmmm that Aux is always
reporting.
A different sound to my normal on/off Hum and more intense, not so
much the volume, but more the insistence factor. I do seem to find it
harder to get going under it, which would tally with the effects of
Theta waves.
The far traffic is heard separate to this background.
Yes, If a mood alterer was about- this is what I'd expect it to sound
like- but of course, at that freq, it's sublimimal - if nowhere near
sublime!
Therefore, you could say I'm not capable of knowing the effect as I'm
not able to judge what it's causing me to misshear,
Hmmm..... tricky. There must be a quango somewhere discussing all
this, at great expense.
I wonder if it's a pensionable posting?
