Partly as I live in the middle of Crop Circle country and partly out of interest in predictions here's and interesting slant on recent activity May25 2009 Windmill Hill, Avebury http://www.cropcircleconnector.com/2009/waylandsmithy/articles.html where a quite firm prediction for a solar flare is made for 7 July- in one weeks time from now.
The Sun gas been quiet for rather a long time on the sunspot front so a sudden severe flare would really stand out. Not something that would be predictable in any way, by day /date. Should something like this occur, it would certainly verify the crop circle prediction, as well as cause a fair amount of damage to earth comminications and power systems. If Hum goes through a few gyrations at this time too, that would be of marked interest to sufferers. Not long to wait !
