Sorry, Bill -not to reply earlier on your post, which I found very interesting. Maybe as it covered so much ground- I wanted, and still do intend, to get further stuck into your comments. Mainly, I was taken with the wide breadth of merging phenomena in your approach. I don't think hums are one thing across the globe- even if it can well happen on some wilder proposals [including mine] -like HAARP etc. Hum, though is quite likely global, even if intermittent, those solar sound files I posted recenly here are interesting but have received no comment. I do think people who can make measurements and log the Hum in a formatted way will help in the long term nailing of the problem. A recent post on Yahoo covered the various modes and freqs in this way -and I think that is the way to proceed , if possible.
