I must admit to have suspected cloud cover, atmospheric pressure and
CTs of affecting hum at one stage or another- but recent clear skies
and steady weather front has left hum on permanent idle
drone.Noticeable mainly at night.
No breaks- only a slight modulation if a second or so.
This is 'Basic Hum mode' and definitely doesn't mean a clear bill of
health over the other issues as they could be actually switching hum
off (rather than on), by various means.[ie: as in low freq coding].
All the same , a useful observation for your particular area M&J .-
I'm south central England.
Great to see REALLY clear skies, for once. Makes it obvious what the
layered CT flumes are doing...
Colours look really bright too!
