The idea that the ears of hum sufferers are sensitive to whatever may be 'out there' appeals to me. What is out there is certainly varied as we live in a noisy audio and EM world. A recent comment by John here brought up the use of Magnesium supplements [+ calcium, which I don't take] to assist in hum reduction. I take Mag. Citrate in small amounts up to 150 mg daily. Most westerners are low in this mineral anyway and at low levels is unlikely to any harm. It can act as a laxative by retaining fluid in the gut- but for many this is no bad thing. This is not meant to be medical advice , as such- but purely my own thoughts and trials for others to research and consider for themselves.Occasional supplementation with caution- and then a break is always best. So far I think there may be a direct affect of taking Mag., but the levels I'm taking may not be enough to give long term improvement - given many other factors co-incident with hum prediliction.
