We are all aware that the Hum makes people ill and can have serious consequences.
In the past at least 5 people have committed suicide as a result of the Hum. At the inquest of one of these deaths the Bristol Coroner, Dr. Paul Forrest stated “this is a puzzler. There are some strange aspects to this. There are many questions about this death”. He recorded an open verdict. As a result of his remarks several people petitioned him to reopen the enquiry to which he replied, “ There was no other evidence, nor other witnesses relating to that particular l phenomenon. In those circumstances there is nothing the inquest could add to the problem Furthermore, my powers only arise on death as to the identy of the deceased, the circumstances of the death, and the particulars for registration. They do not arise now in any shape or form relating to investigation of “the noise”.
