For the past two years I have used a method to detect and measure the Hum based
on the cilla of the inner ear, however, there are other properties of the Hum
crying out for investigation. A good proportion of sufferers report the
sensation of pins and needles which would suggest that the energy that causes
the Hum can act directly on the nerve endings in the skin. Although this is a
well-established and important fact, it appears that very little in the way of
investigation or research has been carried out, including by the members of the
Taos Hum research team. If the effect of pins and needles could be replicated
or blocked it may lead to a mode of detection and measurement that has no
direct connection to the human ear, it would also shed light on the nature of
the energy and its effects on the human body.
