That being said, as I understand it, one of the target is just to get the current binding of an existing process. There is no need to change the way hwloc discovers the hardware for that, the hwloc-bind could be provided an option to call hwloc_get_proc_cpubind instead of hwloc_get_cpubind. Samuel
