you can still use it to control all your external gear (at least gear that
responds to CC#). it certainly would have been cool though to have a sysex
'learn mode' (ala Peavy 1600x) where i could set up the knobs to send out a
whole slew of stuff ... and hey why stop at knobs set up all the btns and
pads to send out whatever your heart could program! that would be dope. but
alas we are stuck with CC's
