if your needing to load a midi file then make sure its not type 1...and if
it is type 1, then load it into a sequencer and resave it as type 0
as for the sounds, i find that if you play the sounds using the rm1x keys,
they sound shite......thats why everybody thinks they sound crap.....but if
you use an external keyboard, then you get a much better sound, remember you
need vel sense.
i find that the an1x and the rm1x, are made for each other! you can use the
an1x's knobs without having to reprogram them (not them all though) to suit
the rm1x. The an1x's faults are the rm1xs finer points and vice versa.
