I think you miss the point-

The RM1x is not any kind of machine to make a "composition" on.
It's already been established that the Song mode, and even Pattern-Chain
mode are almost worthless.
It's built for live tweakability.
If you want to be able to program what exactly is going to happen and
then press play and go get some snacks or take a nap or something - sell
it and buy a QY700.

I can't make any "songs" on it, but one complete style is good for about
4 hours of live action.
