Ok i just gave it a shot, and you are right, if you use the split *Job* you
cannot select a start measure less than 2. However, if you use the split
*button* (which is what i've been using, it's the lower-rightmost button on
the little grid) it allows you to select measure 1. Strange. Try that and
see if it works for you.
