dear rm1x-ers, could someone please enlighten me regarding this:

In the manual, one of the 5 types of files the rm1x can write and read is
"SMF". But the manual doesn't say whether this is type 0 or 1. I want to
save songs to load into MIDIGraphy, and i'm wondering if the rm1x's SMF file
type will save individual midi tracks like I have them on the 1x (for
example, track 1 has kick, 2 snare, etc.... up to 16) as separate entities
(the way I understand type 1 to work), or if it'll bunch all of them
together into one midi channel that you have to "explode" out to the other
tracks later (don't think midigraphy will do this, or ?). Also, does this
format write/read all the cc info, program changes, etc. to the respective
tracks as well? I'm thinking about getting a 3.5" USB floppy drive for my
g3 mac just for editing trax, etc. I'm hoping that swapping songs back and
forth between computer and rm1x will be a workable endeavor. Thanks,
Jim
