DDR is a genius - I've seen him live at various parties in London or
Reading.
If you like that sort of techno, D.A.V.E. The Drummer & Chris Liberator
apparently play a lot at parties in Minneapolis and make a very similar
noise.
DDR is the most twisted of the whole London underground/acid techno scene
though, and the Geezer is pretty evil sounding too.
Last time I saw DDR live he was with Julian Liberator under the name A&E
Department) and all they had was a 909 and an Akai S3000 going into a Mackie
(each) with both setups running into a DJ mixer. Most impressive - they
really know their gear
Great to hear of London techno being appreciated around the world. It's the
kind of stuff I DJ generally
