RM1X Upgrade transfers

I know the Rm1X can take Sysex dumps which is good for me because I currently 
have no way of hooking up my external gear to my computer. Was wondering if 
there was a way for RM1X to recieve and transmit OS upgrades for synths and 
the like? This question may seem ridiculous--i'm new at all this. Thanks.
