i'm using my a3000 with octamed6 on my amiga, and if you're into using a
tracker rather than a 'traditional' sequencer, then i'd heartly recommend
octamed. if you're a pc user, then you can get a demo (60 day time-out i
think) from www.octamed.co.uk and there is a couple of usergroups on
www.egroups.com called (last time i checked) meduser and medmusic. or for
about the same cost, get a second hand amiga a1200, midi interface and copy
of octamed soundstudio (which i believe is now freeware).

: You could alwasy try octamed soundstudio. I think the windows version
might
: in fact be working, but I am not sure. Before I got my rm1x, I was using
an
: amiga to make my A3000 go (with octamed), and it went, let me tell you.
If
: your looking for a tracker, this is the one.
:
: It does handle midi (quite well as far as i remember) and has 64 tracks
: available.. mmmmmmmmm ... tracking goodness.
