Don't really understand what you're saying, but for
starters you should make sure that the RM and the
909 do not transmit and receive on the same midi
channel.
I expect you want the two machines to act on their
own, each running its own program and sound, but
in tempo sync.

out notes from one machine trigger sounds in the other.
