Best have the 909 as the slave and the RM as the master ...

Hit setup 3 times, and set each track's MIDI out status to off, and leave
the TO TG status on. (Hold track and select a track number while you are in
this screen to change between tracks) What this does is stops any of your
RM tracks sending the midi data to midi out - then, hit utility twice, set
midi control to out, then set your 909 to slave (if there is such a thing)
- and the RM is your master - hit play and your RM and 909 are synced up
with 909 playing whatever you have in there and the RM doin the same .....
muck around with variations of this to get different results too - as in
have track 1, midi 1 going to midi out if you want your RM kik midi data
sent to the 909 etc.. I wouldn't bother tho - just lock em up without
notes and rock it hard..... :O
