Hello, I just now subscribed to this list, and just recently got an rm1x. I plan to use the Rm1x for live sequencing, and have no intention of using it's synthesizer. It would be really nice to get 32 midi channels out. My question is this: Has anyone tried modifying the hardware of the Rm1x to get the 16 midi channels being sent to the internal synth to go to an external midi jack? Also, does yamaha read this list? The tap-in beat function does not work very well. It looks like it just measures the time between the last two taps. Something more reliable would be to avereage the time between all the taps. Check out the korg electribe for a really good tap in function.
