First of all I what to thank everybody involved in this project. Thank you guys, great job!
I'm thinking about to upgrade my old Sony Clie, and want have Linux on my new pda. So I'm looking at 4700 because of it's extremely good hardware. My basic PDA usage is: readers (text, html, pdf), PIM (checkbook (aka finance manager), Address book, Date book, To Do list, Notes (text, drawing)), misc (calculator and so on). It'll be great to be able to use pda for VoIP calls (through WiFi), web browsing, GPS (with CF or bluetooth GPS device for example), sync with phone through bluetooth and so on.
Can you tell me in what status is the familiar distribution for 4700 (as it is in wiki only WLAN is todo, is it true?), when the stable release will be with 4700 support and can I use 4700 with familiar on it to satisfy my pda needs?
