Reverse engineer the wince driver for the USB host controller on the utterly undocumented ATI Imageon W3220 chip, or use a CF USB host adapter.
I know there is a usb host on the board, but I have a feeling that it is going to be all but impossible to tap into it, and I would rather not open the thing up (for some reason small stuff like this has a tendency to not work after I have seen inside). As long as you have wince on the flash, you can use haret to load the kernel and then boot off a rootfs on SD.
I suppose that if things are nice and stable I can ditch windows all together and reflash the thing, if that it what it takes to get a usb host working.
