Hello list!

So, second question: Has anyone modified the bootloader to see things on
the screen and managed to boot? what am I missing?

Here's what i have in my ipaq now:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/# cat /proc/cmdline
mtdparts=ipaq:[EMAIL PROTECTED](bootldr)ro,[EMAIL PROTECTED](kernel),[EMAIL
PROTECTED](root),[EMAIL PROTECTED](home),[EMAIL PROTECTED](asset)
root=/dev/mtdblock2 rw rootfstype=jffs2 console=tty0
console=ttyS0,115200n8
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/#

i have output both to screen and serial, and both work fine. There are
a _lot_ of messages during boot, and sometimes it's just unusable
(valuable info just lost between some "Flash block at address
0x00b1ab1a etc"

current bootloader i made by modifying the source and recompiling sdg
bootldr-1.2.3

earlier, when i just hexedit'ed already compiled one, i just changed
ttyS0 to tty0, removed bitrate setting and inserted spaces, so that
the file size remains the same. maybe you've changed file size?

I hope someone had the patience to read through all this :)
Thanks in advance,

ah, slow work day ;)

Luis P.

regards,
